Illustrated by Richard Hotchkiss, with photographs by Jerry N. Uelsmann, and an afterword by Allan Campo. Includes a brief introduction by Everson which discusses the poems in light of his entry into the Dominican Order (which he undertook in 1951). A handsome Everson edition, published in his native California. Hardcover. Small 4to. Brown boards in pictorial dust jacket. A near fine copy, in a very good plus DJ. SIGNED by Everson at half title, as issued (from a limited edition of 100 signed copies). Mild touches of soil and rubbing to jacket; tiny chips at head of spine. Trace soil to boards, else sharp overall. Interior bright, clean throughout. Good and sound. 44pp.
