Taipei: National Palace Museum. As New in As New dust jacket. 1973. 1st Edition. First Printing. Hard Cover. Publisher's full red cloth, gilt lettering on spine and cover, orange endpapers. Illustrated with 50 magnificent, full-page, full-color plates. Text in English, Chinese, and Japanese. Printed on glossy stock. The first volume in this series was published in 1969. For this volume two, the Museum selected 50 items from the Chou, Western Chou, Shang, Han, Warring States, Sung, Yuan, Ming, and Ch'ing periods (some as early as 1766 BC); and care was taken to avoid duplicating those items described in the first volume. . Both the volume and the clear mylar dust jacket are in perfect, pristine condition; unread, unmarked, tight, square, and clean. The original cardboard illustrated slipcase shows only minor shelf-wear. AS NEW/AS NEW.. Masterworks of Chinese Jade in the National Palace Museum Series. Vol. 2.
