In near fine condition with very good dustwrapper. (d/w. Slightly creased along top edge. Not price clipped). Author’s inscription to early page. Else a very clean and tight copy. 160 pp. With 10 colour plates, b/w photographs and some illustrations in text. Taken from William Nelson’s logbooks and brief autobiography, this is an account of the life of one of the last men to captain a Square -rigger sailing ship, making his last voyage, aged 70. Captain Wilson died in 1929.
