About This Item
One of the renegade Freudian psychologist's most influential works, which posits sexual repression as the genesis of authoritarianism. A terrific association copy inscribed to his second wife (a partner in his highly unorthodox research in the US during the 1940s and early 1950s, and mother to his son) whom he would marry that year. They would stay together until 1951, when Reich discovered DOR and began constructing his famous cloudbusters. Signed copies of Reich's books are quite uncommon in the market.
