4to, maroon quarter cloth over maroon papered boards, gilt titles, 159pp. Stated First Edition, January 14, 1958. Price clipped dust jacket, minimally worn, with library decimal marking to spine, minor creases and wear to edges, tape residue to rear flap continuing to rear board. Former library card and tape mark residue to rear endpaper, stamping to title page. Interior is clean and unmarked, boards sharp and square. An exposition of the Tridentine Rite of the Catholic Mass, with black and white photographs of Bishop Sheen celebrating mass by Yousuf Karsh, with accompanying text by Henri Daniel-Rops. With an introduction by Bishop Sheen. The first in a series of collaborations between the three, followed by This is Rome and This is the Holy Land. Scarce first printing. A handsome copy in mylar.
