Hardcover with unclipped dust jacket, First (1952) Printing thus, xvi + 305 pages including Kennedy's drawings throughout; very gently used, tight in binding, not a trace of shelf wear other than gentle bumps to spine ends, tiny pale faded red smudge to bottom of fore edge, interior very clean and unmarked, pages surprisingly fresh and white considering their vintage; DJ has four immeasurably tiny chips/tears at spine top, another even tinier at front flap hinge top, wraparound art looking very bright, clean and attractive in mylar protector. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good ++/Very Good ++. Illus. by Kennedy, Richard.
