Oliver, Director Indiana Historical Commission, State House, Indianapolis, December 15, 1921; list of illustrations, biographical sketch; b/w captioned photos. several pp appear to have been stuck together at one time, but still legible; endpapers lightly tanned, good; small 8vo, navy cloth, gold titles cover, spine slightly fading, light line indentations back cover, good; no dust jacket. Military leader Foch commanded fighting forces of 15 allied nations on a battlefront during the World War extending from the Sea of Galilee to the North Sea. Foch's visit to Indianapolis by invitation from Governor Warren T. McCray July 28, 1921 included a procession from Union Station to the Speedway and a banquet at the Claypool Hotel..
