1885. JEWETT, Sarah Orne. A MARSH ISLAND. Boston: Houghton Mifflin and Co., 1885. First edition, first printing. 8vo., decorative green cloth, in two shades. Bookplate, gift inscription. Spine just soiled, with a hint of bowing, shelfwear to the extremes. A short edge-tear to one leaf has been discreetly tape-repaired, with a touch of offsetting to facing leaf. A tight, pleasing copy, very good plus. (BAL 10885).
