About This Item

(Paris): (Trianon Press), 1960. Limited Edition. Hardcover. Near fine. Folio, 27 [8]pp., illustrated. A near fine copy in the publisher's marbled boards with green morocco spine., titled in gilt. In the publisher's marbled slipcase. Spine faded to a brownish hue, as ever with green leather, and the front board just a tinge warped, but a lovely copy of this expert facsimile of one of Blake's masterpieces. With the publisher's prospectus laid in. This is number "N" of 26 copies reserved for the publisher and the Trustees of the Blake Trust (of a total of 526 copies, 20 of which contained a suite of plates and proofs). An extremely handsome large-format facsimile of Blake's inimitable work.

Reviews

On Dec 10 2016, a reader said:
Hand painted and printed page by page by william blake. This story covers the perception of the 19th century romaz revival complete with social conflation of church and state, the industrial revolution and beginning of the fall of Christianity.

About Cleveland Book Company

We are proud members of the ABAA.

As a small, independent bookseller in Cleveland, Ohio, I deal in general used, rare, and antiquarian books, autographs, manuscripts, pamphlets, and personal and family papers in all subjects. My family has been in the antiquarian book business since 1971. Are you moving, downsizing, or doing some spring cleaning? Did you inherit or otherwise come into some old books? Or, maybe you've collected modern novels from the last thirty or fifty years. No matter what kinds of books you have, we'd love to take a look at them! We travel throughout Ohio, western Pennsylvania and New York, southern Michigan, and eastern Indiana, and will travel farther in some cases to look at whole libraries or even just a few particularly interesting books. Give us a call at (216) 352-3940 and we can talk more about the kinds of books you have.
