Synopsis

The Mark of the Assassin is a 1998 spy fiction novel by Daniel Silva. Plot summary: An airliner is blown out in the sky off Long Island and the perpetrator is found dead near crash site with three bullets to the face. The Islamic terrorist organization "Sword of Gaza" is accused of the attempt, but CIA Agent Michael Osbourne suspects the truth is another, since he believes that the three bullets are the calling card of an elusive and lethal international contract killer.
