Original silver print photograph signed by Rosenthal. Print size showing inside mat: 7" x 9". Frame size 10 5/8" x 12 9/16". Professionally matted and framed and under glass. Here is the lead paragraph about the photo from the Pulitzer Prize website. "Perhaps no Pulitzer Prize-winning photograph is better known than Joe Rosenthal's picture of six U.S. Marines raising the American flag on Mount Suribachi on Iwo Jima. It was taken on Friday, Feb. 23, 1945, five days after the Marines landed on the island. The Associated Press, Rosenthal's employer, transmitted the picture to member newspapers 17½ hours later, and it made the front pages of many Sunday papers." For the fuller story, consult the Pulitzer Prize website. This is a fine print of one of the inner circle of iconic photographs in American History. I have tried to provide as accurately as possible the color tone of the photo and mat in the digital photo you see. The mat is a subtle green gray, and the photo gray. Meadville, PA: Keystone View Company. Good. Stereoview. Set of three stereoviews depicting different locations in Utah. All produced by the Keystone View Company, appearing to come from two different boxed sets. No date is printed. Two in color come from one set and the other in black and white is from a different set. All are mounted on grey boards with black lettering. All are in good condition with a large curve to the mounts and slight wear to edges. Images are crisp. The two color photos are titled "Lobby at Zion Lodge Center, Zion Nat. Park, Utah" (UP 29448) and "Cedar Breaks Pavilion, Cedar Breaks, Utah" (UP 29453). The image in black and white is titled "The Lodge at Bryce Canyon, Utah" (29044). .

Single plate (22.9 x14.8cm) extracted from an early issue of Irving's The Theatre magazine, comprising tipped-in Woodburytype photograph (14.6 x 9.6cm) of Terry seated in her costume for the Merchant of Venice, with "The Theatre, No. 1, Third Series. Woodburytype" printed directly underneath. Terry sits aslant to her right, looking to her left, with her left hand raised and index finger pointing up, two books piled in the background tightly framing the back of her hand. With (mis)quotation from Act 4, Scene 1 in facsimile of Terry's flamboyant hand underneath: ""Come Merchant have you anything to say"?/ Portia/ Ellen Terry:". Triangle of white to bottom right corner of photograph, presumably from glitch in its reproduction, minute patch of wear to Terry's right cheek, page mount a little soiled, toned and wrinkled.
