Viking Press, NY, 1961; First Edition; 8vo, 301 pages; Prussian blue boards, gray cloth spine. Extensive prose and poetry collection of Marianne Moore, once described by T. S. Eliot as "one of the few (writers) who have done the language some service in my lifetime," and who in 1951 had the unique distinction of winning the Pulitzer Prize, The National Book Award, and the Bollingen Prize. Includes, in addition to individual poems, the entirety of the two published collections "Like A Bulwark," and "O To Be A Dragon," numerous selections from "The Fables Of La Fontaine," the complete "Ford Correspondence Letters," several hitherto uncollected poems and essays, and a twenty-three page 1961 personal interview with Donald Hall from the Paris Review. Very Good, clean, crisp, bright, corners sharp, in a VG- dust jacket that has some chipping along the shoulders of the spine panel. Not price-clipped, no previous owner signatures.
