New York: Atheneum, 1963. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 7 1/4 X 10 1/4 Inches. 440 PP. Stated "First Edition" on the copyright page. Original price of $12.50 intact on front flap. Lengthy previous owner ownership poem on the FFEP. PO name and annotation on the verso of the titlepage, the page that is signed by Margaret Rudkin. A wonderful oversized cookbook filled with numerous recipes dating from the 1400's to the 1700's and Rudkin's modern take on them. Light wear to DJ edges with some minor rubbing and paper loss at folds and edges.
