About This Item

New York: Military Heritage Press, 1989. Large Hardcover. Good/Good. 13x9x1. Top corner bumped, a few smudges to front endpaper and fore edge, 1 inch tear to jacket spine base. 1989 Large Hardcover. 192 pp. The years 1933-1939 are among the most fascinating of the twentieth century. They are the years in which it gradually dawned on the western that the Peace that followed the First World War had sown the dragon's teeth of a new and more terrible conflict. And what finer record of those momentous years could there be than that contained in the world's first and greatest illustrated weekly paper, The Illustrated London News.
