Frontispiece, 35 full-page called-for plates. Very good. Faint edgewear; text block lightly age toned, with mild occasional foxing; nonauthorial 1912 gift inscription on front flyleaf. A tight, attractive copy of the so-called "Colonial Edition" (via publisher's small title page inkstamp) of this hefty New Zealand travelogue by A British author (1872-1923) best known for his travelogue on Portal as well as Central and South America.
