Small (7.1" x 5.1") hardcover half-bound in medium brown leather, burgundy pebbled boards, dark brown title band on spine, 6 raised bands each with gold decorative pattern; 429pp, two foldout maps, old "A3" label stuck to FFEP, no additional printings indicated. Cover has slight wear, leather on outer tips of corners just slightly worn through. Binding tight and square, endpapers not split. Endpapers and maps moderately foxed; large map at back of book has 2" tear. Front free endpaper has old bookseller notations in pencil that could easily be erased.
