A little light marking to covers, otherwise in excellent condition throughout. From the private collection of renowned British archaeologist Sinclair Hood. Inscribed by the author to an unknown recipient on the front free endpaper: 'To J.W.C. with kindest regards from Henry 11-5-48'. Below this is a second inscription, gifting the book to Hood: 'To Sinclair from J.W.C., Xmas 48'. Scarce. Overall condition is Very Good Plus. International postage will be less than the stated rate.
