New York: The North River Press, 1952. Book. Fine. Hardcover. Inscribed by Author(s). First Edition. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Hardcover, red cloth stamped and lettered in white, in publisher's white non price-clipped dust-jacket. 140 pages. Signed and inscribed by author to artist and sculptor Carey Boone Nelson whose extensive body of work includes sculptures shown in collections across each of the seven continents, and placed in museums, libraries and college campuses around the world. First edition. No previous ownership marks save author's inscription -- "To Carey Boone and her / charming husband, / I shall always have / loving memories of your / gracious hospitality on / Staten Island. / with affection, / Kay Fulling." Essentially a travel book on Spain, focusing more on the people than any attraction, architectural or historical. A clean, tight fresh and unmarked copy in a nice dust-jacket. A fine copy in a very good+ dust-jacket of a scarce title. .
