Hardback, 1929, forty-eighth edition, published by Frederick Warne & Co. Ltd., London, 268 pages + xii.
Measures around 7 1/2" by 5". Red cloth binding, black lettering to front board, gilt lettering to spine. Discolouration to spine and edges of boards. Scuffing and marking, some signs of shelf-wear, slightly bumped corners. Binding a bit slack at spine, a little strained in middle of book but hinges and textblock intact. Page edges browned, scuffed and a bit marked. Page surfaces generally clean, the odd mark but no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
