Marseille: Collection Raoul et Jean Brunon, 1957. First Edition. Softcover. Near Fine. Softcover portfolio. Limited edition of 850 copies, 50 on japon de barjon paper and the rest, like this copy #485, on verge gothique de prioux. Outer wrapper has a tipped on color plate and a whisper of wear at edges. Interior pages are in fine condition, with French text, tipped on color plates, black-and-white bordered illustrations, and drawings. Raoul Brunon was killed in World War I. Jean, his brother, carried on Raoul's military passion and eventually published this book and others based on some of his Raoul's early collections. Text is in French. Tall 4to. 79 pp. From the estate of Donald Skinner, Canadian military collector extraordinaire.
