Pamphlet. 29p., stapled wraps, 5x7.25 inches, evenly toned, wraps worn, soiled, and lightly foxed, a few small stains on front wrap, staples rusted else good condition. Text in French. La Brochure Mensuelle Numéro 19, Juillet 1924. French-language version of "Malthus and Anarchism". "A British immigrant, Charles Leigh James (1845-1911) was described by Voltairine de Cleyre as 'the most learned of American Anarchists'" *Buhle p. 33. Devaldès was a French individualist anarchist and neo-Malthusian who was arrested for refusing service in World War I.
