New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1946. Hardcover; 347 pages. FIRST EDITION. Brown cloth hardcovers with gilt titles on cover and spine. Faded spine. Light wear to corners. Some fraying to head/tail of spine and head/edge of covers. Bookplate on fep. Yellowed edges, dusty tops. The pages themselves are bright and clean. The jacket is orange with black titles. PC. Fairly scuffed back. The edges are bumped and chipped. Sunned spine. Small section of head-edge spine missing. VG/G. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good.
