Chicago, IL: University of Chicago Press, 1968. 288pp. Translated from the Hebrew by M. Roston. Orange cloth. Surveys the work of twelve Hebrew fiction writers: Mendele Mokher Sefarim, Shalom Aleikhem, Itzhak Leib Peretz, Mordekhai Ze'ev Feirberg, Uri Nissan Gnessin, Yosef Haiyim Brenner, Hillel Zeitlin, Gershon Shoffman, Mikha Yosef Berdichevsky, Itzhak Dov Berkovitz, Haiyim Hazaz, and Shmuel Yosef Agnon. Pages are clean but slightly yellowing with age. Binding is tight with no cracks or breaks. Page egdes are soiled (spots on upper page edges). DJ is sunned/scuffed/soiled. Rear hinge is separated (connected to rest of DJ by non-archival tape.) Several other pieces of tape along inside bottom of cover. DJ also has minor bumping/chipping. Price clipped. Nevertheless, nice reaing copy.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good +/Good.

After that, $.50 for each additional book. Priority mail is based on size and weight of book. Cost starts at 10.00 but will be adjusted for smaller books that fit into Priority Mail boxes and envelopes. Oversized and/or heavy books may cost more. UPS/RPS or Fedex available at additional cost upon request. All shipments to Mexico or Canada over four (4) pounds is subject to rate increase. Returns will be accepted on a limited basis. If any item arrives and is not in the condition described on Biblio, or is not the edition listed on the website, we will refund both the item and shipping both ways - upon receipt of the return package. Otherwise, our used book sales are final.
