About This Item
London: Michael O'Mara, 1989. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 10.25 x 8. The interior is clean and tight, with the signature of a former owner dated 1991 on the title page. The glossy pictorial covers are in very good condition, with light wear and bumping to corners and spine. Synopsis: Maisy wants to be a "real" pirate. Although she lives on a pirate ship with her Uncle Silas, he doesn't take the business of being a pirate very seriously, and keeps his ship too full of pets, plants and parrots to have room for treasure. When a rival pirate attacks, though, it is Maisy's courage and cleverness that save the day.
