About This Item
London: Ward Lock and Co. , 1944. Cloth. Fine/Very Good. 7.5" by 5" . None . A lovely copy of this collection of short stories by Dornford Yates, complete with its vanishingly scarce unclipped dust wrapper. A later impression of this work, originally published in 1928 in The Windsor Magazine. Mostly stand-alone short stories, one features the character of 'Berry'. Written by Cecil William Mercer under pseudonym Dornford Yates, best-selling author during the Interwar Period. Complete with its unclipped dust wrapper, vanishingly scarce. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally lovely. The dust wrapper is unclipped and sound, chipped to the head and tail of the spine, some sunning to the spine. Internally,, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Fine
