Griffin and on lower rule Bancroft Broadway. Contemporary gift inscription on pastedown. Bookplate. Some slight rubbing to extremities. Very good plus. First edition. Illustrated with 12 engravings. 300 pp. 1 vols. 8vo. Herbert contributed "The Magnolia" pp. 9-10; "The Death of Soto" pp. 14-23; "The Conqueror.
