About This Item
New York: Kaufman & Greenberg, 1996. First Edition. Limited to 1000 copies. When Harper first published Houdini’s A Magician Among the Spirits, in 1924, they dramatically cut his 175,000 word manuscript down to 75,000 words. Very unhappy at the result, Houdini was working on this manuscript for a new expanded and revised edition at the time of his death. This large almost 500 page volume reproduces the full manuscript in facsimile. Fine in full black cloth with matching slipcase which has some rubbing and light wear.
