Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Pages and edges are clean and bright, with clean endpapers. No names, writing or marks. Illustrated with 113 photographs in gravure. Frontispiece photo portrait of the author. 498 pages with index. Clean bright dust jacket is not price clipped (6.60 on front inside flap), has very shallow chipping at top spine edge (1/16"). Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. An autobiography of the Founder of The Theatre Guild, a book filled with information and alive with the prominent personalities of the greatest era of the American Theatre and American Invention..
