Red cloth, front board with black graphic of Madeline holding hands with the bad-hatted son of the Spanish ambassador, and black type on spine.
Dustjacket, stained on inside, tears and chipping, shows $3.50 price. Boards have slightest bit of rubbing to extremities, and shelf bump to bottom edge. Previous owner's inked name and bookplate to front pastedown. Small stain on bottom edge of some pages. Text is unmarked. Binding tight. A respectable copy with a bump, but otherwise bright and tight.

Synopsis
