[x]+216(last blank)+[2](colophon, blank), coloured frontispiece portrait and 11 full page illustrations, grey & white pictorial endpapers, title page printed in pink & black, colophon device printed in green & purple, bibliography; cr. 4to; qr. maroon leather, lettered and decorated in gilt & blind, grey cloth over bevelled boards, upper board blocked in gilt, a couple of tiny bruises to edges, the spine slightly rubbed; a little light foxing; printed by Benjamin Waite for The Australian Limited Editions Society, Sydney, 1941. Edition limited to 350 numbered copies signed by the author and illustrator. Farmer p. 30. *The fifth book printed for The Australian Limited Editions Society. Set in Baskerville and Bodoni type by Edward Rogan and Ronald Harris, with presswork by William Cooper; binding by Albert Waite.
