Dark brown library buckram with gilt spine title and call number. "Newark N.J.P.L." at tail of spine in gilt. Small bookplate on front fixed endpaper: "The Trustees of the Free Public Library of the City of Newark N.J." Title page in red and black. Ex-library with 6-digit number stamped at head of Preface and call number written in ink next to it. A heavy book; for international shipping, the U.S. Postal Service requires that it be sent by priority international. In Very Good Condition: cover is lightly rubbed; signs of former public library ownership, as described above; edges of a few of the composite sections rubbed; otherwise, clean and solid.
