About This Item
Washington, D. C.: War Plans Division. Very Good+. 1918. Hardcover. Black hardcover, shoelace binding, slightly dulled title and corner wear. Stamped "2nd Infantry". Of interest are the notes written inside the front cover relating a 'buddy' relationship, extended to the inside back cover and the date notation on the last page. Total of 9 sections: 1,5,6,7,9,12,22,49 I&II. About 150pp., illustrated with line drawings, tables including mathematic trajectories. Section 49: I has a large horizontal tear and the following page has a large fore edge chip. This section was mis-bound with the lower hole punch outside of the shoelace binding, there is no damage to the original lower hole punch but the fore edge rolls and short tears reflect the mis-binding. A very nice copy. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
