Hardcover - Very Rare - First Edition - c.1940 by Capt. L. H. Niblett. Publisher: 'Allahabad: Printed at the Mission Press. This RARE book is also known by A Record of Jungle Reveries & Experiences. Condition: This book has seen much use through the years. It has red linen boards which are soiled and sun faded at the spine and around the edges; edges and corners have light wear and rubbing. Stitched spine is tight. The original dust jacket is in very poor condition with many torn and chipped areas which have been taped, now protected with a new archival mylar wrapper. Both the dust jacket and book have previously suffered from dampness at the spine area and the stains are obvious particularly in the first few pages. These stains, however, do not interfere with the text.
This RARE book, most likely a First Edition, comes from a private collection of a couple who traveled extensively in India, Africa, and Egypt, among other places. Please look carefully at all photographs of this offering as they are an integral part of the description.
