About This Item
London: The History Book Club, 1971. Reprint. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good Minus. 8vo - Large (over 7¾" - 9¾"). N/a. Type: Z 559pp. (white spine) large 8vo. sized. 1971 bookclub hardback edition. A very good minus copy in very good minus jacket. No inscriptions, but a neat printed bookplate is pasted to the preliminary blank page. Original publisher's brown boards - silver embossed to the spine. Maps to the endpapers and a number of illustrations illustrate the text. The tail of the spine and the rear lower board corner bumped and a light bump to the lower front board corner with light associated creasing to the overlying jacket. The jacket has not been price-clipped - it has some light rubbing towards the tail of the spine, some fading to the spine (the titles remain legible), a crease to the upper corner of the front flap and some shelf wear. A very good minus, essentially clean, tight copy in similar jacket.
