He received the Knight's Cross, Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross w/oak leaves & swords, the German Cross in Gold, etc. Also signed by Eric Rudorfer, 224 kills, over 1,000 combat missions. He engaged in aerial combat over 300 times, was shot down 16 times, parachuted out 9 times. He won the Iron Cross 1st & 2nd Class, the German Cross in Gold, the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross w/oak leaves & Swords. And signed by Walter Schuck, 206 kills, over 500 combat missions, winner of the Iron Cross 1st & 2nd Class, German Cross in Gold, & the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross w/oak leaves.
