Campbell presents stories of his Loyalist ancestors, who settled in what would later be called Ripples, in Sunbury County, New Brunswick. Contains considerable information for local historians and those interested in the genealogy of the Campbell, Ackerman, Young, and McLaughlin families, with stories about WWII internment camps in the area, log drives, the Saxby Gale (1869), and the hard times experienced in the Dirty Thirties. Additionally, there is information culled from gravestones in the Ripples Community Cemetery, as well as mentions of the New Jersey Volunteers, and much else. Foreword by Bill Randall 286 pages (including appendices), illustrated. Light cover soil, a bit of water staining, presumed previous owner's telephone number on title page, moderate handling wear..
