NY: Dodd, Mead, 1904. First Edition. Gazo Foudji. 8vo, pp. 239. Bound in light blue cloth, elaborately stamped in blind. white, gold and pink, untrimmed. Some light darkening from finger prints on the plain rear board, but otherwise a fine, clean copy with all the "paint" present. With 6 color plates by Foudji. Onoto Watanna was pseudonym of Canadian author Winifred Eaton, later Babcock. It is the story of a love affair between a western man and a Japanese woman.
