Department Of Agriculture Of Canada. Ottawa, 1904 Book size about 6 by 9 inches with some 176 pages plus many full page photo illustrations. Bound in dark red cloth over thin boards attached with a three point string binding. Book has a map pocket inside front and rear covers containing folded full color maps. Front pocket contains three maps and rear pocket contains two maps. I have no way of knowing whether this was the original arrangement but five appears to be the original published and included number of maps. The maps are: Ontario and Quebec; Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Cape Breton; British Columbia; Manitoba and Northwest-Territory; Dominion of Canada (Large map about 20 by 30 inches). In general the maps are roughly 18 by 24 inches. The string binding did not pierce the edges of many photo illustration pages and they are thus loose or partially loose (A type of binding often used on books where permanence was not that important). Covers with a bit of wrinkling; light soil; some illustrations with edge wear. Maps with some fold separations; paper with some age toning and fragility. Overall a quite nice copy of this book. VERY GOOD. 1st Edition.. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket.
