About This Item

London: Collins, 1981. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Good. This is a first printing of the first English edition, with a complete number line. The interior of the book is crisp and clean. There is a small 'C' stamped on the title page, but no other marks or wear. The red cover are fresh, with minor wear at tips and corners. The gilt spine lettering is still bright. The dust jacket is only in Good condition. It has little edgewear, but some colour has been rubbed off the edges of the front panel. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: "When Second Officer Bill Stevens realized that there had been something very odd -- perhaps criminal -- about the sinking of his ship, the old tramp steamer Culion, he has to battle indifference and opposition to clear his own name and unmask a murderer".
