About This Item
Unsure of the date, but believe 1865 to be accurate. Cover has wear, dings, stains, and rubbing. No dust jacket, unsure if as issued. Spine shows heavy wear, especially on the top and bottom edges. The words on the spine are still visible, but not by much. A name is written on the outer page block, and on the first page. No other writing or markings noted. Tanning and foxing are present. The binding feels fragile, but the pages seem secure. Overall, a decent reading copy that needs to be treated gently. Nonsmoking environment.
