About This Item
Houghton Mifflin Co, 1965. Hard cover. Good/Good. Second edition, 13th printing. Three volumes in slipcase. Includes fold out maps in back of all three volumes.
Slipcase is worn along edges, with light stains inside, not transferring to books themselves. Jacket spines are sunned, particularly on volumes 1 and 2, but text is legible. Top and bottom edges of jacket spines are worn with a few chips, not cutting off text. Inside of jacket spines are tanned. Jacket flaps are clipped, not cutting off text. Cover boards are in great condition, besides light handling wear. Spine of first volume is cracked, but all pages remain securely attached to binding. Spines of other two volumes are shaken, but binding is secure. Insides are clean and unmarked.
