About This Item
Published by Adam & Charles Black in Edinburgh, 1857. Leather-bound hardback with gold gilding, and illustrations by Birket Foster and John Gilbert. In fair condition. Some slight wear along the edges of the spine and the corners of the hardcover. Tanning and light foxing visible on the inside pages. The edges of the edges of the pages have been lined with gold. Small inscription by a previous owner on the flyleaf, and a library plate on the back of the front cover.
