London & Leipzig: Black und Armstrong Hardcover without dust jacket, undated (c1837-1850), unpaginated, but Brockedon's text is approximately 120 pages, plus frontpiece of Byron and 40 of the Findens' engraved plates;--- text in German (except for excerpts from Byron's poems in English)---marbled cloth and buckram covers worn at edges (but spine gilt lettering and bands bright and clear), tight in binding but crack started at about pages 4/5, faded old waterstain to frontpiece, very light to moderate foxing throughout (less so to text, more to endpapers and margins of engravings), previous owner's professionally designed (by owner) bookplate inside front cover, ink numeral "45" inside back cover, all text pages otherwise clean and unmarked.
