About This Item
McGraw-Hill. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1979. First Edition. Hardcover. 0070267200 . This specific hardback book is in very good condition with some minor wear to the cover or edges and corners but with a hard board cover that has a tight binding. The pages are clean, crisp, unmarked and uncreased but for an area on the first blank endpage that appears that some pencil has been erased. The book is signed by the author following an inscription which states, "Signed at the Bookworm - September 25, 1979." The dust jacket is in very good condition with some cover or edge wear. We package all books in custom cardboard book boxes for shipment and ship daily with tracking numbers.; "Although Mark Harris' Henry Wiggen baseball books were written many years ago (starting in the early 50's with "The Southpaw" and "Bang the Drum Slowly," and finishing in the 70's with "It Looked Like For Ever") these are great books that are timeless. In some ways, "For Ever" is the best of the lot, because it deals with time and aging and how we deal with that. Henry becomes even bigger and more real as he grows fallible."; 9.2 X 6.1 X 1.1 inches; 276 pages; Signed by Author .

You might find my descriptions more detailed than most others, but when purchasing online, I want you to know exactly what you\'re buying. I don\'t want you to feel surprised when you open the box.
