About This Item
London: Jonathan Cape, 1951. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Frontispiece and Embellishments By Joan Hassall. The interior of the book is clean and tight. The author has written an inscription and signature ("Ronald Jessup from Elizabeth Bowen, July 22nd 1951) on the half title page. The orange covers are fresh, with very light wear at tips and corners. The dust jacket is corner clipped, but is also in very good condition, with light edge wear and a somewhat darkened spine. The attached scan should give a better idea of condition. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover.
