About This Item
Eyre & Spottiswoode, 1960. 1st Edition. Hardcover. NF/VG. 12.3 x 19 cm blue boards with gilt stamped titles to the spine. 240pp with original unclipped dust jacket priced at 16s net. A near fine book, clean and bright with firm sharp corners and square binding. Internally clean, without name, inscription or bookplate and with just a strip of toning to the front free endpapers where the dust jacket does not reach and a couple of spots to the very edge of the text block. The dust jacket, which is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown), has some toning to the spine and a band of toning to the fore edge and top edge front and back. It is however complete and unrubbed, with no tape reinforcement or restoration. All in all a very good looking copy of this hard to find John Christopher thriller. Rainford & Parris Books welcomes enquiries, so please do not hesitate to ask if you require further images or have any questions. All books are packaged with great care.
