About This Item

London: Pan Books Ltd, 1984. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. First edition first printing. Book is tight and clean, with slight lean. Boards sharp and clean, gilt perfect. Text black edges have a hint of toning. Pages beautifully white. Feels lightly read and very nice in the hand. Very good condition. Jacket has light handling wear and crimping to edges only. Lenticular panel not scratched or peeling. Overall a nice example. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a quality addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. Despite the slight lean, this is a great copy of this collectible novel by one of the U.K.s best, and still much missed, SF authors.
