Pea-green cloth boards with label affixed to spine in white jacket with red line-drawing by Betty Sutherland, Layton's then wife. Illustration of Layton by Sutherland facing title-page. A fine copy in jacket that is split along back edge of spine and chipped at head of spine. Inscribed by Layton to Kelsey and Rosabelle Jones, the late pianists: "For two warm and true friends, Kelsey and Rosabelle. Affectionately, Irving Layton.".
