Condition: Good, with light shelfwear to covers. Binding sound, no inscriptions. Hint of foxing to endpapers. Dustjacket condition: Fair to good, generally lightly shelfworn with some foxing to front cover of dustjacket and some scratchmarks and scuffing to rear of jacket. Not price-clipped. 127pp. Charming b/w illustrations by Edward Ardizzone. E.Nesbit was born in 1858 and died in 1924. She wrote these reminiscences of her childhood long after she was grown up and they were first published in 1895-6 as a series of magazine articles..
