Concerned with themes of relationship, jobs, and life on the road. Written by Jack Kerouac, famous American author of On the Road. Complete with unclipped dust wrapper. With three newspaper articles about Kerouac loosely inserted. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally lovely. Dust wrapper unclipped and excellent with minor shelf wear only, lightly chipped to head and tail of spine, minor closed tear to head of spine. Internally, firmly bound. Minor offsetting to pp. 22-23 caused by a previous owner's inserting of newspaper cuts, otherwise pages bright and clean. Near Fine

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
